Marlborough Sounds Storage Ltd (MSSL) is a Picton based boat storage facility providing a variety of options for both the long term managed client, or the casual / short term (overnight) boat storage customer.

IMPORTANT
A copy of our “Terms of Trade” is listed on this web site. If you are taking up the offer for Long Term Storage you will be required to sign a copy of this agreement.
Long term boat storage:
This is the main area of our business, as we learn and understand the individual requirements of each new client and their families we can tailor our response and service to assist with their visits. This minimizes any potential inconvenience or hold ups for a hassle free stay.
Self Tow: Some of our clients prefer to simply store their boats with us, safe in the knowledge that their boat is housed within a safe, dry, facility and they can call up in advance for collection.
Fully Serviced: A large number of our clients (and wives) enjoy the launch and retrieval service that we offer.
This can certainly be a major relief after a drive up the South Island, or a flight / ferry crossing from the North. To know that your boat is hooked up and ready to roll from our depot, or fueled and waiting on our berth in the Picton marina, (at a prearranged time).
Conversely on your return from a busy weekend out in the Sounds it is nice to know that you can trust your storage team to be ready at the launch ramp to assist with the retrieval, and take care of the wash / flush as you are well on your way home.
Charges:
We have four categories or levels of pre set charges depending on your boat size. They are separated into two areas, and are available upon request.
The storage charge, this is charged two monthly in advance.
The service charge, these relate to any services that we have supplied, or work that we have conducted, they are charged monthly.
Casual or Short Term Storage: For 1 - 3 nights
Charges: $40.00 per night up to 5 mtr total length
$45.00 per night 5 – 10 mtr total length
We offer a casual or overnight storage service for boat customers. We often store boats for a month or two for customers that prefer to leave their boats in Picton (short term) rather than tow them home, this is POA.
